On Thursday 22 October 2015 Ian Macara, head of the Bennett Griffin Private Client team, will be one of the key speakers in a seminar about planning for vulnerable people and paying for care called “Planning to Remove the Stress”.

The seminar will take place at the Sussex County Cricket Ground in Hove and provides an opportunity for people to hear from leading experts in financial care, wellbeing and planning for vulnerable people.

Ian will be speaking on the issue of ‘Choice not Chance’ sharing his experiences of assisting adults and children at risk and highlighting the importance of not leaving things to chance but empowering people to make informed choices about their future.

Ian has a wealth of experience in this area and he and his team work hard to provide their clients with reassuring advice and practical assistance to ensure that any problems they have are minimised and their best interests are protected and preserved.

Through his Dementia Friends training and his recent appointment as a Panel Deputy of the Office of the Public Guardian Ian has a real insight in this area and is looking forward to talking about this topic which he feels so passionately about on the 22 October.

The event will be chaired by Senior Judge Lush who is the Senior Judge of the Court of Protection.

Tickets are only £10 each for those from the voluntary sector and £25 each for those from the professional sector, with any profits from the event being donated to our charity partners.
